ABOUT NETFLIX AND WHY I USE IT

 

Netflix is a movie and television show streaming service that allows you to watch many shows and movies at a price range from $7.99/month to $12.99/month. It was created in 1997, and has over 50 million users today.

 

I have been an avid user and a fan of Netflix for a little over two years, and there are many instances for which it has been beneficial in my life. My loyalty to Netflix is attributed to my love for movies, and the fact that Netflix is the fastest and most convenient way to watch my favourites or discover more. Netflix fits in many aspects of the recreational time in my life. It’s my go-to website for when I’m bored, either alone or with friends. If I need to catch up on my favourite tv-show or feel like pursuing a 3 day Friends marathon, Netflix is the best option. When I’m spending a night in with friends or family, a movie is a fun and easy way to pass the time. The list goes on (and on, and on.) It’s not hard for me to justify watching another movie. 

 

When digging deeper into Netflix and its User Experience Design, I was able to find many things to make me love the service even more, as well as things that I believe would improve my experience.
